That’s right, the Name Warehouse has been up and running for a year (well, almost, 9 days to go). That’s pretty darn remarkable, and I never would have guessed that I’d make it this long, much less end up with such a lovely group of individuals reading and supporting my content as wonderfully as all of you do. So thank you. I love all of your readership so incredibly much and I’m grateful for all of your participation in the various series, commenting opportunities, and form submission requests I’ve thrown out there in the past 365 days *woah*.
With that being said, I’ve got a variety of ideas circling in my head for the grand 1st birthday celebration of Delphina Moon’s Name Warehouse (they grow up so fast, don’t they fellow name nerds?). Buuuut, I also think you all should have a say. After all, this 1 year anniversary is mostly due to your dedication of time to my articles and your eagerness to participate in various Name Warehouse activities, and it’s only fitting that those who participate in this delightful community that I have the fortune to entertain with baby naming content also get to celebrate such a monumental anniversary the way they like.
I don’t have specific guidelines or prompts for the things I’m hoping you’ll submit. Well, it has to be naming/Name Warehouse related in some way, shape, or form, but otherwise, you have all the power, friends and dear readers. I will do any (appropriate; hi mom!) name list, profile, Opinions On, or a whole new article, series, etc. specific to this particular occasion. And if you have just a regular old name profile/list suggestion not entirely restricted to a first anniversary celebration or that you feel is just a bit too boring to use as a celebratory piece, then that’s fine too! I’ll take those too, and just store them away for later publishing.
In short, send me everything that you think is perfect for a look back at or an excellent reflection of The Name Warehouse’s first year up and at ‘em. If I don’t get anything, I have plenty of back-up, so don’t worry about that if you can’t think of much. But I’m so excited to see what you guys stir up! Whoever’s idea I find the best will make it, but I will certainly find space later for any other ideas if they just aren’t appropriate for our celebration. Contest for this 1 year anniversary article/article series closes in three days, just so I have the proper amount of time to plan a series if needed.
